The best corporate gifts in Singapore are the ones that get eaten, shared and remembered, not the ones that end up in a drawer. Whether you are thanking a client after a big year, sending something to partners for Chinese New Year, or saying thank you to your own team, good food is the safest bet: everyone can enjoy it, it does not need to match anyone’s taste in objects, and a well-made box says more about the care behind it than a branded pen ever will. This guide covers what to look for, how to set a budget, and the two gifts we designed for exactly this.
What Makes a Good Corporate Gift
Whatever you choose, the gifts that land well tend to share a few qualities:
- It gets used. Consumable gifts are enjoyed within days. Objects compete for desk space and are often regifted.
- It is shareable. A gift that can be opened in the pantry and passed around reaches the whole team, not just the name on the card.
- It is presented well. The packaging is the first thing the recipient sees. A gift that arrives ready to hand over saves you wrapping thirty of them at your desk.
- It is safe for a mixed office. In Singapore that usually means thinking about pork and lard, and about allergies.
- It arrives on time. A great gift that turns up after the meeting is a missed opportunity. Lead times matter, especially in peak season.
Setting a Budget per Recipient
Most companies do not give everyone the same gift. A simple way to plan is to tier by relationship:
- Staff, event guests and door gifts — around $12 to $16 each. A small, well-made favour that everyone receives. Our Favour Boxes sit here, from $12.
- Partners, suppliers and the wider team — around $25. Something more substantial to share. The KSB Gift Box ($24.90) is a paper gift box (not a tin) holding a banana cake, a butter cake, two mochi cookies and a pandan financier. Or give one of our cookie gift tins ($25.90), which keep for weeks.
- Key clients — around $50 to $57. The gift you want remembered. The KSB Gift Tin is $56.90, or $49.90 each when you order 20 or more. The Double Blessings Set ($48.80), two cookie tins in festive packaging, suits clients you are sending to ahead of time.
The KSB Gift Tin: for Key Clients
We designed the KSB Gift Tin as the gift you hand to the people who matter most to your business. It is our heritage shophouse tin, filled with ten of our favourite bakes and presented in a KSB gift carrier bag, so it is ready to give the moment it arrives.
Inside: two Dirty Dubai Chewy Croissants, three Mini Clairssants in flavours you choose, a slice of butter cake, a pure banana cake, a honey-lemon mochi cookie, a chocolate mochi cookie and a pandan financier. It is a spread of what we are known for, enough to share around a client’s office.
Ordering in bulk: the tin is $56.90, and $49.90 each when you order 20 or more. The bulk price applies automatically in the cart, and tins with different Mini Clairssant flavours all count towards the 20. Please order at least 2 days ahead.
Cookie Gift Tins: Gifts That Keep
The KSB Gift Tin is a spread of fresh bakes for a particular day. When you need something that keeps — gifts to post out over a few weeks, a stack for the reception desk, or clients you will see at different times — our cookie gift tins are the answer. They keep for 1 to 1.5 months at room temperature, so they can be delivered ahead and handed out whenever the moment comes.
- Milo Cornflakes ($25.90) — crispy cornflakes baked with Milo, a nostalgic crunchy chocolate snack.
- Almond Florentine ($25.90) — almond slices and pumpkin seeds baked into a thin, crisp florentine.
- Hei Bi Cookies ($25.90) — savoury cookies with dried shrimp floss and shrimp paste, a local favourite for anyone who prefers savoury to sweet.
For a more substantial gift, the Double Blessings Set ($48.80) pairs any two of these tins in a festive ready-to-give package. Individual carrier bags per tin are available at $1 each.
Favour Boxes: for Teams and Events
When you need a gift for everyone — the whole team, every guest at a client event, or a door gift at a company dinner — our Favour Boxes are petite heritage boxes of our bakes, from $12 each. There are five to choose from:
- Signature Favour Box ($15.50) — a slice of butter cake, a honey-lemon mochi cookie and a chocolate mochi cookie.
- Butter Cake Favour Box ($12.00) — butter cake with a French macaron, an earl grey sandwich cookie and a coffee-chocolate sandwich cookie.
- Honey Lemon Mochi and Chocolate Mochi Favour Boxes ($12.70) — a mochi cookie with a French macaron and two sandwich cookies.
- Sweet Trio Favour Box ($14.00) — six little sweets: two French macarons, two earl grey sandwich cookies and two coffee-chocolate sandwich cookies.
Ordering in bulk: order 20 or more Favour Boxes, mixed however you like, and each is 5% off automatically. The Butter Cake, Honey Lemon Mochi, Chocolate Mochi and Sweet Trio boxes have a combined minimum of 10 per order; the Signature box can be ordered singly.
Making them yours: send us your own stickers or labels — a logo, an event name, a thank-you message — and we will paste them onto the boxes for you. Please allow 7 days.
The same Favour Boxes are a popular wedding favour too — see our guide to wedding door gifts in Singapore.
Planning, Lead Times and Delivery
- Lead times. The KSB Gift Tin needs at least 2 days’ notice. Favour Boxes with your own stickers need 7 days. In the year-end and Chinese New Year rush, order earlier for the widest choice of dates.
- Delivery. We deliver island-wide, and orders of $150 and above get free delivery — a corporate order of tins or favour boxes usually clears that easily. A small surcharge applies to a few outlying postcodes.
- Timing and storage. The KSB Gift Tin, KSB Gift Box and Favour Boxes are fresh bakes, not a shelf-stable hamper, so we recommend scheduling delivery for the day you plan to hand them out. They can stay at room temperature for that day; anything not eaten should go into the fridge, where it keeps for up to 3 days. The cookie gift tins are different: they keep for 1 to 1.5 months at room temperature.
If you are also feeding the room — a client event, a year-end party or an office celebration — see our guide to traditional kueh for corporate gifting and catering.
Dietary Considerations
We do not have halal certification, but we are a no pork, no lard bakery, which makes our gifts an easy choice for most mixed offices. If a recipient needs certified halal food, please factor that in.
On allergens: our Favour Boxes and the KSB Gift Box contain egg, dairy and gluten, and all except the Signature Favour Box also contain tree nuts. All three cookie gift tins contain egg, dairy and gluten; the Almond Florentine contains tree nuts, and the Hei Bi Cookies contain shrimp. If you are gifting to someone with an allergy, ask us before you order.
The Bottom Line
A good corporate gift is one people actually enjoy: consumable, shareable, well presented and on time. Tier it by relationship — Favour Boxes for the team and event guests, the KSB Gift Box or a cookie tin for partners, and the KSB Gift Tin or Double Blessings Set for the clients you most want to thank — and use the bulk pricing to keep the per-head cost sensible. Everything is baked by us, packed to hand over, and delivered across Singapore.
